Basic knitting is on my to-do list. I will make a tutorial on it, just the matter of time. I feel rather sorry if you are in the hurry.

When you need to change color in knitting, pick-up the new color yarn, cross it on the wrong side with the existing yarn and continue with your stitches with this new color. Depends on how wide the new color goes in the pattern, if it is only for a few stitches before you change back to the old color, just cross your old color over behind the new color on the wrong side, continue with your knitting; otherwise, start a new yarn if the new color goes too far away.
Hope this help :)

Hi,

I'm very much a beginner. I really don't understand how you make the heart? I've tried knitting everything and purling the X's of the pattern and knitting one row then purling the next and doing the alternate stitch for the X's but it all just looks the same! Please help...
