Amigurumi Baby Sheep Pattern – Timmy

If you are the fans of the British’s animated children’s television series, “Shaun The Sheep”, and the spinoff “Timmy Time”, this cute little baby sheep shouldn’t be any stranger to you. His name is Timmy, the cousin of Shaun, the pacifier sucker that has a mom who wears hair curlers that always protect him from danger.

After making Pom-pom Shaun The Sheep and Shirley Sheep Earmuffs, I knew that Timmy will be my next sheep project. Here he is, presented in the form of amigurumi and I hope you all like it.

We have been a huge fans of Shaun the Sheep ever after my son was born. This animated TV program was our routine morning show during breakfast. I love this cute little pacifier sucker baby sheep and adore it a lot. Few years later, Aardman Animations produced a spinoff to feature Timmy in Timmy Time. This 3 year-old baby sheep and his friends learn to share and make friends which is a good Children TV series for preschooler.

Get the amigurumi pattern and the how-to sew this baby sheep with pacifier after this jump:

Difficulty Level: Advance Beginner, must know how to crochet ls [loop stitch], ls2tog, sc, sc2tog, sc3tog & ch.

Finished size: approx. Size: 4 1/2″ W x 5″ H

Materials & Tools:
1. Yarn

• White, Medium Worsted Weight, 2 strands
• Black, Medium Worsted Weight, 2 strands
• Yellow, Medium Worsted Weight, 1 strand or Light Baby Weight, 2 strands

2. Animal eyes or wiggly eyes – 15mm, 1 pair
3. Crochet hook: 3 mm, 4.5 mm & 5 mm
4. Tapestry Needle (to join body parts and hide yarn ends)
5. Poly-fill for stuffing
6. Strong adhesive

Abbreviations:
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
ls = loop stitch
sc2tog = single crochet 2 together or single crochet decrease
sc3tog = single crochet 3 together
ls2tog = loop stitch 2 together or loop stitch decrease
st = stitch
MM= move marker
FO= fasten off

Amigurumi Patterns

Body (White, 2 strands, 5mm hook)
Make 1
Loop’s length: about 3/4″ long
Round 1: Ch2, 8sc in 1st chain. MM. (8)
Round 2: *2ls in each st*, repeat * around. MM. (16)
Round 3: *2 ls in first st, 1 ls in next st*, repeat * around. MM. (24)
Round 4 – 8: 1 ls in each st around. MM (24)
Round 9: *ls2tog, 1 ls in next 3 sts*, repeat * around. MM (16)
Round 10: *ls2tog, repeat * around. MM (8)
Stuff firmly
Round 11: *ls2tog, repeat * around. MM (4)
FO, hide yarn end

Head (Black, 2 strands, 4.5mm hook)
Make 1
Round 1: Ch2, 6sc in 1st chain. MM. (6)
Round 2: *2sc in each st*, repeat from * around. MM. (12)
Round 3: *2sc in first st, 1sc in next st*, repeat from * around. MM. (18)
Round 4: *2sc in first st, 1sc in next 2 sts*, repeat from * around. MM. (24)
Round 5 – 6: 1 sc in each st around. MM (24)
Round 7: *sc2tog, 1sc in next 2 sts*, repeat from * around. MM. (18)
Round 8 – 10: 1 sc in each st around. MM (18)
Round 11: *sc2tog, 1sc in next st*, repeat from * around. MM. (12)
Round 12: 1 sc in each st around. MM (12)
Stuff firmly
Round 13: sc2tog around. MM. (6)
FO with at least 6″ yarn tail
Run yarn tail through the last round of stitches with tapestry needle, pull to close the opening. FO. Bring the yarn to the ch of round 1.

Ear (Black, 2 strands, 5mm hook)
Make 2
Round 1: Ch2, 6sc in 1st chain. MM. (6)
Round 2 – 3: 1 sc in each st around. MM (6)
Round 4: sc2tog around. MM. (3)
Round 5: 1 sc in each st around. MM (3)
FO with at least 6″ yarn tail

Leg (Black, 2 strands, 5mm hook)
Make 4
Round 1: Ch2, 8sc in 1st chain. MM. (8)
Round 2: sc2tog around. MM. (4)
Round 3 – 5: 1 sc in each st around. MM (4)
FO with at least 6″ yarn tail

Tail (White, 2 strands, 5mm hook)
Make 1
Round 1: Ch2, 8sc in 1st chain. MM. (8)
Round 2 – 4: 1 sc in each st around. MM (8)
Round 5: sc2tog around. MM. (4)
FO with at least 6″ yarn tail

Pacifier (Yellow, White, Black, 1 strand, 3mm hook)
Make 1
Yellow
Round 1: Ch6 (6)
Round 2: sc in the 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 3 sts, sc sc2 sc2 sc in the last ch, sc in next 3 sts of the other loop of the previous ch base, sc sc2 sc2 in the last ch, slst to the first ch of the round. MM (18)
Round 3: ch1, sc in next st, sc3tog, sc in next 2 sts, sc2 in next 2 sts, sc in next 2 sts, sc2 in next 3 sts, sc in next 2 sts, sc2 in next 2 sts, sc in next st, slst to the first ch of the round. MM. (23)
FO with at least 6″ yarn tail
White
Round 1: Ch2, 6sc in 1st chain, change to Black, slst to the first ch. (6)
Round 2: sc in each st, slst to the first ch. (6)
FO with at least 6″ yarn tail

Ch 10
FO with at least 6″ yarn tail

Crochet all the parts as per amigurumi patterns above.

Assemble pacifier by sewing the handle and cap to the yellow body.

Sew pacifier to the head. Note: Round 1 of the head is the bottom. Hide yarn ends in the head.

Insert eyes to the head and apply some glue to fix the eyes. Set aside to let the glue dry.

Sew ears to the head, hide yarn ends in the head.

Sew head to the body. Note: the last round of pattern is the top of the body. Hide yarn ends inside the sheep.

Sew tail to the bottom back of the body. Hide yarn inside the body.

Finally, sew hands and legs to the baby sheep to complete the amigurumi.
