I, too, have a ten year old in mind for this sweet shrug. Any help in a mid range number of stitches would be so helpful, so it will turn out right….anyone help?

I do not have other size on the fur shrug since I only made 2 sizes, 1 for adult and 1 for toddler. You may adapt the patterns for sizes in between.

Hi, I love this but my grand daughter is past the toddler stage but at age 10 I can not make the adult size for her. Are there a certain no. of stitches to start with to make a formula for the size? Like divisible by 9 etc etc.

This shrug is best done with fur yarn because it is a loose-knit. I haven’t done it with 8 – 12 ply yarn but I could imagine that it will be thick.
Yes, you could extended the length by repeating the increment stitch at intervals.

Hello, I am from Queensland Australia & would like to know if this shrug patter can be done in non fur yarn & would it be about a 12ply yarn or 8 ply to use 8mm needles. Can the length of garment be extended or would it throw it all out?
