Time flies, and…. Craft Passion is “1“ today!!!! Unbelievable, I survived through my 1st year of blogging in just a blink of an eye and it was like yesterday since I drafted my 1st post. I’ve gone through a lot throughout the first year and still learning hard in getting better in this area, there are always rooms for improvement, right!!!!
Things have changed since my 1st post a year ago… ….

Nur Salam Fundraising Night

I am back in Penang again after spending a weekend in Kuala Lumpur for the Nur Salam Fundraising party….. which took place on the 11th of July 2009 at Carlos @ Pavillion. It was a successful fundraising party and raised more than RM105,000.00 for the charity. I had a good time enjoying the atmosphere of the party with my mum, sister and a friend. Among the events in the party, we watched performances from rock stars, gender illusionist shows, jokes, auctions and Sumay (as Mistress Mara) spanking people to raise funds… etc, but nothing beats the moment when “The Dazzles” was successfully bidded. BRAVO (round applause, please)!!!!
The auction event started at around 10:30pm and there was an abundance of items in the auction list, among them were 5 rounds on a Porsche Le-Mans at Sepang F1 circuit, ….

Fabrics, Fabrics, Fabrics, I Love Fabrics

I love fabrics!!! The above 3 pieces of fabrics are my recent gifts.Left – from sumay, my lovely editor for this blog. This fabric material is popular in making saree, a tradition garment for female in Indian subcontinent. I plan to make a nice and elegant frame clutch purse with it. I like the tassel-like dangly bits on it and will definitely retain it on the purse. May be I will add some beads on it to make it more classy and elegant.
Right – a swap with Joanne of Ready.Set.Craft . I love the flower prints on it, I plan to make something denoting Springy season with it. Could be a tote bag, but I’m not sure yet :p
