If it was as predicted by some scientists that the Earth is entering a period of global cooling, a great whoopee news to the adorable Polar Bear at the Arctic.
As the ice cap is reforming, the polar bear will have more secure land to live on and not afraid of drowning in the chilly sea. Their thick fur will once back to its original purpose – to protect them from the icy cold weather.
The thick fur reminded me of a hilarious but sad story about the polar bear, it has to shave its fur in order to survive in a gradually warm-up climate.
Do our part to heal the Earth and pray hard that the climate will become mild and moderate eventually.
Bubblebum, the all white crochet polar bear amigurumi, is crocheted from white acrylic yarn, while the scarf is from cyan yarn.
Follow the free crochet pattern written below to crochet (and stuffed) the body, ears, arms, feet, tail, and scarf. After that sew to assemble this stuffed polar bear, not forgetting to add the eyes, nose, lips and it nice rosy cheeks.
It is a quick and easy crochet animal pattern and it is suitable for beginners. Whip up a few of them as gifts for friends and kids. You may also add a keyring to make it into a keychain or simply let the crochet polar bear stand to decorate your little Winterland corner at home.

MORE DETAILS ON HOW TO CROCHET AND ASSEMBLE AMIGURUMI POLAR BEAR
- Crochet the body by following the crochet pattern above.
Flatten body piece and stuff accordingly.
Instead of having a spherical body, Bubblegum is shaped more like a bar of soap. Give the body a gentle squeeze to form this shape.
The side profile of the body should look like this. - Crochet the ears, scarf, arms, and feet. Pin and sew onto the body
- Glue on a black brad for the nose, at the center of the body below Round 11.
- Sew on eye indentations: bring a new strand of white yarn through from the back of the body to the front. Make a horizontal backstitch, three stitches away from the nose on the right. Repeat on the other side. Bring yarn to the back of the body and trim excess.
- Cut white felt into two small crescent shapes, matching the size of the black brads. Pair them up with the black brads and glue them onto where the eye indentations are.
- Use black crochet thread to sew on the lips. Do not pull the thread taut – leave it a little loose so you can make the stitches curvier by manipulating it with a darning needle.
- Cut two pink felt circles and glue them onto the cheeks.
- Crochet the tail then sew it onto the back of the body.

Hey, I had a small question since I'm new to amigurumi and reading patterns :) In the pattern: Round 4: [Inc, sc 2] around {24}.
Does Round 4 mean, single crochet in the first two stitches and then do an increase (2 single crochet in the third stitch)? I wanted to know so I get an idea for the rest of the pattern :)
Thank you so much :D

Hi Nihoshka, Inc means increment stitch which is to crochet 2 sc in 1 stitch. Sc2 means single crochet in next 2 stitches. Happy crochet!!!
