Crochet Pattern: Simple Hairband
I was doing some house keeping in my craft room last few days, only to find out that I have so many left over yarns from my previous knitting and crocheting projects, oh dear!!! What am I going to do with them, I can’t just throw them away? They are neither enough to knit into garments, nor I can combine all of them to make one…. the colors are just “repulsive” when come together :p Since I am keeping long hair, why not make them into some hairbands!!!! You know, time is bad and I have to save a little when come to handicraft :p
I took some rubber hairbands and started to crochet, just a simple pattern. With combination of some yarns, I have made 8 hairbands in just an hour
They are shown below, just click “Next” to see all of them. I also showed the yarns I used for each hairband I have made.
My daughter likes the pink the best but her hair is too short to put them on. I let her keep it, she can use it when her hair is long enough
If you want to try one, you just need to prepare some yarns, 8/0 crochet hook and a rubber hairband. Follow the photos and the instruction written just below the photo, you should be able to get one done very fast.

I luv all the handbands you made. They are simply gorgeous! But sad thing is I dun keep long hair and no daughter too.
Btw, your first photo looks so professional with beautfiful composition too! Well done!
Thanks. 2 options, you can make a few and wait until your hair is long enough, or give them to your friends who can use it
Very pretty hairbands but like the other poster, I don’t have long hair anymore.
You can always make some as gifts to friend with long hair
This is a great, easy pattern and gives me something to do with all that “left over” yarn!! I also have long hair so these will be used a LOT – Thanks Joanne!!

I would really like to make some of these for grandchildren, but I’m not able to get to the pattern at all. Instead of 4 pictures, I only get one picture and there is no “next” to click on. Can this be corrected?
HI Gaye, I have made the album to the second page. Please go to page 2 and click next picture on the album. This should work.
I did the above to find the pattern, but it’s still not there–anywhere.. Help?
Go to page 2 and click the “next” arrow at the bottom right corner of the photo.
