Can someone tell me what kind of yarn this is?

I made another trip into the craft store today…. and bought thousands of craft supplies ready to stock up for my next few projects. Out of them, I am regretting for not buying this unusual yarn…. According to the label, it’s called “Rapunzel”from Stenbach Wolle. I am guessing that the Rapunzel is the name of the model rather than the style of yarn. My dear readers, I tried googling the name but could not find it. Some feedback would be much appreciated. Thank you!

I am knitting a scarf! A warm and cozy style, it looks like to resemble a mink fur after a few rows of it, I don’t know but I am going to continue knitting it.
This scarf is going to be the prize of my first ever giveaway draw which I am going to do on a monthly basis. I will announce the draw date and the final product after I have finished it, most probably within this week. So, keep an eye of my next announcement.

  1. It looks like the pompom yarn we have here. You can make scarves out of it. I have knit 3 of them so far. You can also make cushion covers too.

  2. I saw this at my LYS and I think they are calling it marshmellow yarn

here I found this link http://www.ericas.com/yarn/marshmallows.htm

    :)

  3. Marshmallow yarn! :)

  4. It looks like a pony tail to me! Just my wild guess…hehehe!

  5. I have not input into this, however I’m loving the information. Makes me want to go out and buy some. Looks warm and fuzzy…like those “feel good” baby blankets.

  6. Hi Joanne

Well done and keep it up.

I am a knitter as well. Learned about this yarn in the uk knitting magazine Simply Knitting, dun hv the copy with me now though.

BTW where did you get this yarn from ? would therebe possible if you could help me to buy and send it over to me at KL ? I will pay you for sure, including the delivery charges. You may mark up the price also.
