Happy New Year to all my readers and fans out there. Wish you all the best in 2012. May you have a good start for the new year that make you happy everyday!!! 2011 has been great for me and my family, we were in good shape, good health and good wealth (at least not in big debts, lol). I strongly believe that it will be a better year in 2012 if we share and show more loves. When there is love there will be always joy, peace and hope!!!

Over the Christmas holiday, while having good time with friends and families, I managed to knit another quick project. I knitted this little fur shrug with the eye lash novelty yarn again since I still have some after the Slouchy Beanie Hat. Couldn’t believe that this yarn is quite economical to use. I bought 4 skeins, after the hat and this little fur shrug, I still have 1 1/2 skein left in my stash. With less than US$9 (in material cost), I made 2 projects with this yarn, wow, that’s amazing.

This shoulder warmer little fur shrug can be done pretty fast and all you need to know is knit (K), purl (P) and knit 2 stitches together (K2tog). I was able to finish this fur shrug in about 2 hours while watching TV. I designed the fur shrug in 2 sizes, a little girl or kid size and an adult size. You can make a pair to get a mother/daughter set.
