wish I had a little girl to make this for!
Really, REALLY sweet! and so is the shrug!
Best,
Sheila
Very cute, that must be your daughter – she’s cute as well. Happy New Year.
Sandy, knit it as a gift. The receiver will definitely love it

Super cute! I love it and it seems super easy to do, thank you very much for the explanation.
Happy New Year 2012 and a big hug!
It is very easy with your kind of skill level, Doris.
beautiful..first your daughter & then your creation
I like the shrug but I am bad in knitting+sewing..cant dare to knit..haha
Love ~
I love this pattern, but I cannot find the right yarn. Can you make any suggestions or substitutions?
Thank you
Linda Prieur
Hi Linda, there are some brands in the market that you may find something similar, for example, Lion Brand’s Fan Fur yarn. Happy knitting
Hello, I am from Queensland Australia & would like to know if this shrug patter can be done in non fur yarn & would it be about a 12ply yarn or 8 ply to use 8mm needles. Can the length of garment be extended or would it throw it all out?
Many thanks in advance
Heather Brown.
This shrug is best done with fur yarn because it is a loose-knit. I haven’t done it with 8 – 12 ply yarn but I could imagine that it will be thick.
Yes, you could extended the length by repeating the increment stitch at intervals.
Hi, I love this but my grand daughter is past the toddler stage but at age 10 I can not make the adult size for her. Are there a certain no. of stitches to start with to make a formula for the size? Like divisible by 9 etc etc.
Thank you
Ingrid
I do not have other size on the fur shrug since I only made 2 sizes, 1 for adult and 1 for toddler. You may adapt the patterns for sizes in between.
I, too, have a ten year old in mind for this sweet shrug. Any help in a mid range number of stitches would be so helpful, so it will turn out right….anyone help?
Thank you! Your daughter is so cute…how nice to have willing model!
