snowman crochet pattern

This is a quick and easy crochet pattern for a snowman ornament. You can get the crafts supplies easily in the yarn shop and craft shop. What you need are some yarns, ribbon, sequins and beads, pipe cleaner, crochet hook, and glue. You can always get the supplies from Amazon (affiliate link) if you prefer to buy them online.

How To Crochet Snowman Ornament?

The snowman crochet pattern is constructed by basic circle crochet of 2 circles, with one bigger than the other, for the head and body respectively. The dimension of this snowman ornament is about 2 1/2″ high with a 2-strand of lace thread and a 2 mm hook. You may upsize the size of the snowman ornament by using bulkier yarn with the corresponding hook size or downsize it by using a single strand of lace thread.

There is a hat pattern included in the Crochet Snowman Pattern. Add ribbon as scarf, beads, and sequins as eyes, buttons, and mouth, and a short length of pipe cleaner as nose to complete the Snowman.

Where Can You Use This Snowman Ornament?

There are many ways you can use it. For us, we sew this crochet snowman on our Christmas Stocking. However, you can use it to embellish your Christmas Greeting Cards, add a loop to hang it on your Christmas Tree, in your car, on the stroller, as a Christmas mobile. You can even modify it a little and make it into a drinking coaster, coffee cozy and etc. This Crochet Snowman is sure a great icon to celebrate your Christmas with.
