Have you ever had too many cards that your wallet can handle? Be selective and get only those cards that you might be using in a particular shopping mall but end up they were the wrong one? Or, may be just forgot to “update” the cards in the wallet on your next trip? Can’t find the cards you thought you have already put into your wallet? Sounds familiar….. If you are nodding your head now, you need a pouch for the cards just like me.

I am not a big fan of big wallet, with the increasing numbers of cards that I have, my decent size wallet is no longer able to buckle up. Sometimes, I just temporary placing the card in my purse’s pocket but I forgot about it later. I need an additional card pouch where I know where all my cards should locate. So, here it is, my new zipper card pouch :)

This zipper pouch can hold up to 30 plastic cards (similar to credit cards), and more for thinner cards, business calling card for example. With the zipper open up to the side and couple with an internal gusset, this will make card finding easier and faster.

    I taught myself sewing since December, 2012, starting with something simple like glasses cover. Love this pouch and just gave it a try. I was struggling a bit but it was an enjoyable learning experience. :-)

    Dude. I’m usually very good at sewing, but I’m totally lost with this one:

    Change to zipper foot. Pin and sew zipper (wrong side facing up) to the canvas, just outside the seam line, sew to the 3″ point [1] at the zipper, don’t go beyond. For advanced and experienced sewer, pining will do (same to the rest of the similar steps).
    Fold [2] over then flip the lining [3], align to the zipper and canvas. Pin.

    I changed the foot and sewed the canvas to the zipper to the 3″ point as instructed, but there seems to be something missing from the instructions. The next step in this part of the instructions doesn’t make sense. Maybe I’m reading it wrong. I don’t know. But I’ve been sitting here for 30 minutes just staring at it and can’t figure out what the heck I’m supposed to do next. Help!
