Golden Chicken Amigurumi & Egg Amigurumi

Posted on Last updated: /

Remember Amy from Hooked, who guest-posted an amigurumi pattern of Chinese Lantern early this year? She is back with a cuteness overload amigurumi pattern, the Golden Chicken Amigurumi, and Egg Amigurumi. These two free amigurumi patterns came in just in time for the upcoming Easter. They are great for Easter decorations, keyring charms, hanging ornaments, and Easter basket stuffers. Crochet them now and get ready in time for Easter.

I really like how Amy designs the amigurumi pattern for the Golden Chicken and the egg. If you notice, the body of the crochet chicken is, in fact, a larger size of egg compares to the white egg next to it. With this relationship in mind, you can challenge yourself to adapt both patterns and crochet them into small golden chicks and large eggs respectively. On top of the size variation, you may also add some rainbow color stripes to the eggs to spice up your Easter.

What’s more? How about making other shapes and sizes of chicken, try this Hen & Chicks Amigurumi and this Baby Chick Amigurumi as well. Fill your home with different types of crochet chickens, the more the merrier!

Now look at the photo above, do you get a hint on how to crochet the easter bunny behind the golden chicken amigurumi? Let’s try it out! Challenge yourself to create!

Hope to see you crochet them and show me when they are done!

Cheers, and happy Easter!
