Easter is less than a month away, with this, it means Spring is approaching in some countries. Craft Passion’s periodic contributor Lee Mei Li of AmiguruMEI designed an Easter Bunny Amigurumi and named her Ichigo-chan, to welcome and celebrate the Easter with all of you. Feel free to crochet it to add into your Easter decorations, get more Easter crafts here.
Ichigo-chan is a sweet little pink bunny (Ichigo means Strawberry in Japanese) who gets excited and loves to squint her eye when she smiles for photography. She loves everything that is in candy color including candy sours. Easter is her favorite festive of the year because she can eat lots of Easter candy sours that she found during the Easter Eggs hunt. She is known to charm the hearts off any honey-bunny she meets.
Happy Easter and enjoy your Easter Egg hunting with the bunny!!!
a. Make a small pompom for the tail. Start by winding light pink yarn around three of your fingers.
b. When it becomes nice and thick, trim off excess yarn and remove from fingers.
c. Cut another strand of yarn measuring about 15cm in length. Use it to cinch the center of the yarn piece. Make a tight double knot.
d. Bring your scissors through the yarn loops and snip through them. Make sure you do not cut off the long yarn strands.
e. What you’ll have now is a messy pompom.
f. Trim pompom to desired tail size and sew onto Ichigo-chan.
